Our Story
Who is Sleeper Hit Studio?
Sleeper Hit Studio is a group of like-minded writers and creatives who intimately know the life of the writer — the highs and lows. We are the ones who know how important building connections are in this industry.
Sleeper Hit Studio was founded by writer/director Titus Heckel. Titus is a multi-award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter. He's also a physics nerd and in another life, a trained priest (now of the non-practicing; non-believing variety :-) !
We believe that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. That is why the studio starts from the work a team already has in motion: the Notion pages and Linear issues its people write every week become a show — with its own show site and feed, and a Theater page wherever the read has a rendered video — that carries the story to the people inside the business and the people it wants to reach. Nothing reaches them until the team has approved it.

- Your team. You choose which sources enter, who the story is for, what stays private, and what a finished cut must clear. Every plan and release waits for your team's approval or refinement, unless you give the show a standing approval — then it publishes on the cadence you set, and you can pause it or approve each episode.
- How does a team start?
- Build a pilot: Season 1, Episode 1, made from your own sources under your guardrails and returned for approval before anyone hears it. The pilot is the first episode of the show site and feed that will carry the rest of the season.
- What does a show look like once it is live?
- A recurring podcast with its own show site and feed, for audiences inside your business and for the people you want to reach outside it. An episode whose read has a rendered video also gets a Theater page, the staged performance beside the audio. New episodes land on the schedule you set, and every one of them went through your approval first.
- What does a team need in place?
